Mount Etna: Sixth eruption in eight days

According to the Etna Observatory of the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanoes, Mount Etna erupted on Wednesday night with a "lava overflow" phenomenon, marking the sixth eruption in eight days.

The Etna Observatory told CNN that surveillance cameras showed that lava spills moved from the volcano in Catania, Sicily, to the Valle del Bove Nature Reserve tonight.

The observatory said that there have been no casualties.

As stated by the Observatory, Mount Etna is considered the largest volcano in Europe and one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Throughout February, volcanoes erupted, blowing lava and ashes into the air.

Mount Etna erupts frequently, but it is also a popular tourist attraction. Some travelers just came to see the outbreak.
