Italy: streets classes in Naples to avoid Covid-19

Since schools in Campania in southern Italy were closed due to a surge in COVID-19 cases, teachers have been taking classes to the streets to prevent students from falling behind.

Campania, around Naples, survived Italy's first coronavirus wave in the spring, but infection rates in the area have soared in recent weeks, with local authorities closing most schools until the end of October.

So far, the government has avoided imposing restrictions on schools, businesses and freedom of movement nationwide, but has urged local authorities to enact their own restrictions when needed.

Lombardy, where Milan is located, has imposed a curfew from 11 pm. Stop late night gatherings at 5.00 am. Campania said it would follow suit.
