Greece: Alexander the Great birth Palace to open next summer

In the summer of 2021, the palace where Alexander the Great was born will be open to visitors. Alexander the Great (also known as the "King of Kings") was born on July 20 or 21, 356 BC. in Pella in Macedonia

He became the king of the ancient Greek Kingdom of Macedonia, and led the pan-Hellenic military movement against Persia, and in the process spread the Greek culture to the entire empire he created.

When the artifacts of the building located in Pella (excavated in 1957) were discovered, no one knew that it was the palace where the "king of kings" grew up.

Visitors will be able to see the floor plan of the palace on the base level, and the goal of thethe Ephorate of Antiquities of Pella is to take a digital tour of the Visitor Center, which is expected to be completed in 2023.

Not only can you watch the digital representation of the palace, you can also watch the digital representation of a complex of seven huge buildings, with internal courtyards, corridors, stairwells and galleries interconnected.
