Coronavirus: 13,449 new cases in Spain

  The coronavirus pandemic continues to spread in Spain, especially in one region: Madrid. The Ministry of Health’s latest report on the crisis was released on Monday evening. 


 

The report showed that a total of 13,449 new cases have been detected in Madrid since Friday (no data was released over the weekend). 

Health Minister Salvador Illa explained: “This is the second largest increase.” Fernando Simón, director of the Health Minister’s Coordination Center for Health Alerts (CCAES), appeared in front of reporters last night.
